Working Parents 2 Year Funding, Universal 15 Hour Funding

& Extended 30 Hours Funding

If your child is aged from 2 years, you may be able to get the new Working Parent 2 Year Funding, which is 15 hours free childcare per week for 38 weeks of the year (during school term time).

​

The term after children turn 3, they may access up to 15 hours of Nursery Education Funding per week. Sunbeams will apply for this funding for you. The funding is available in sessions of 3 hours each, and can contribute to either morning or afternoon sessions.

The extended 30 hours Nursery Education Funding is available at Sunbeams.

This will only be available to those children the term after they are 3 years of age. To find out if you are eligible you must make an application through HMRC, you will be given an 11 digit eligibility code that you will need to bring into Sunbeams. For eligibility and online applications please contact HMRC's customer interaction centre on 0300 123 4097.

 

 

 

Please be aware that we need the code the term before you wish to access the funding. So those wanting to apply for September need to do so before the end of the summer term. In order for us to process your application and ensure funding is in place.

Sunbeams preschool is independent from the Radford Semele Primary school. However, we do liaise closely with them and use some of their facilities. We also open in line with the primary school, including their teacher training days.
