​As a member of the early years alliance, our management takes the form of a volunteer parent run Committee. Our preschool cannot function without this committee. The Committee is also in charge of organising any fundraising activities for the preschool.

Please be advised that without a Committee, preschool would not be able to operate, We are a 'not for profit charity' and as such we have to have a Committee to enable us to run the preschool.

This is the best opportunity for you to play a part in the most important years of your child's life and have a say in the running of the preschool. Most people do not fully appreciate the hard work that goes into Sunbeams, behind the scenes, We are extremely grateful to our Current Committee, Many of which do not have children at the setting, but it is for your children that the work must be put in for us to remain such an outstanding preschool. Our very dedicated team of staff play a huge part but parents also have a very important part to play.

Therefore the more people we have on board the better to enable us to continue to provide the best possible experiences for your children.

You do not need to have previous experience in education to be on the Committee - we welcome all parents who want to be on it!
