Extended Opening Hours
Exciting News at Sunbeams Preschool Radford Semele!
We are delighted to share that Sunbeams Preschool is planning to introduce extended childcare hours from January 2027!
As we have found that an increasing number of families in our local community need longer hours of childcare, we hope this new offering will provide greater flexibility and support for working parents and families.
As an Ofsted Outstanding, charity-run preschool, we are passionate about providing high-quality childcare in a warm, friendly and nurturing environment where children aged 2 years to school age can learn, play and thrive.
With our proposed new opening hours of 7:45am–5:30pm, we are planning to offer a range of funded and additional paid sessions to suit different family needs.
🕒 Our proposed sessions and fees
Please note: These are the proposed sessions and fees for the planned January 2027 launch.
Why are we introducing extended hours? We know that balancing work and family life can be challenging, and we want to help make childcare more accessible and flexible for our local community. Our aim is to give families more choice while continuing to provide the high-quality early years education, care and nurturing environment that Sunbeams is known for. We are hoping to introduce these extended hours from January 2027, subject to sufficient interest and uptake from families.
The final arrangements will depend on the number of families wishing to use the service, so we are keen to hear from anyone who may benefit from longer childcare hours.
Would extended childcare hours be helpful for your family?
We would love to hear from you! Registering your interest will help us understand the level of demand and whether we can make this exciting new addition a reality.
